These terms govern your use of vinylriot.nz ("Vinyl Riot", "we", "us", "our") and any purchase made through it. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Vinyl Riot is an online store based in Tauranga, New Zealand, specialising in rare and out-of-print Rock & Metal physical media, cult Horror releases, and rare collectibles.
Many items we sell are secondhand and individually graded (e.g. Mint, Near Mint, Very Good Plus) using standard record-collecting condition terminology. Where an item is new/sealed, it is marked "Brand New" — otherwise it should be assumed used, and graded accordingly in the listing. Photos are of the actual item unless otherwise stated. Condition descriptions are made in good faith to the best of our knowledge.
Because much of our stock is one-off or limited quantity, an item may occasionally sell out between browsing and checkout. If this happens with your order, we will contact you and issue a full refund for that item.
All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and do not include postage unless stated.
Instant checkout currently ships within New Zealand only. If you are based overseas and would like to purchase an item, please use the "Ask a question" button on the item for a shipping quote before ordering.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Vinyl Riot does not see or store your card details at any point.
Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. If an item arrives significantly not as described, or faulty, please get in touch via "Ask a question" on the relevant item and we'll sort out a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.
Because of the nature of secondhand/collectible media, we do not offer refunds simply for change of mind once an order has shipped.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vinyl Riot is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or a purchase made through it.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
